It seems to usually come down to whether you like to be in control or not. At least from what I have heard from people. Personally, I like to not be in control. I feel like I am just a bundle of ticks and disorders that can kind be ebbed away if I can allow myself to live uninhibited now and again. But that's just me.

David, you are a stong person that dose NOT need to drink. Really... just think about it, whats in it for you? To fit in? You dont need to fit in, 'cause you already do. I've never heard you question drinking before, its just not you! It's just hard for drinkers to drink in front of people who dont drink. 1. It's rude 2. It just feels weird to the drinker 3. A whole different person come out of some people that drink, that could be why she dosen't drink in front of you. I know your strong David, but if you ever want a sip of my drink to see what the big deal is anyway, just ask... but I will only let you sip once out of my drink!! <-- (about hard alcohol)

David, don't give into this peer presure likeness. We love you the way you are and drinking is just not for you. If it was, you would have done it already. Just stand back and let it happen to people around you and just know that you are super awesome being sober.

Steps:
  1. Got find a crazy college party. Maybe that girl who wants to 'wax your ass'...
  2. Party, byt don't drink
  3. Watch others get completely wasted
  4. Observe aftermath
People most often quote drinking as a means to relax, loosen up, have fun, or fight depression. So unless you are depressed or can't seem to "loosen up and have fun", then why bother going through step 4 above?

Generally I get the same "what am I missing out on" feelings, then I follow the above steps and suddenly that "feeling" is gone. It's amazing.
