First of, any help to Hurricane Katrina is greatly appreicative, but that school principal needs to get off his ass, donate his OWN money and stop asking the kids to donate. Some little kids with good hearts I'm pretty sure will give their lunch money, thinking it's a good cause, but they'll starve until the day is over. The principal shouldn't be preaching that to the kids, and instead, have a sign out. Those who can help, let them. Those who can't, leave it as it is. I know how hard it is when the school is asking for so much and yet it's a public school. They have their standards, but they need to not raise that bar so high, cause they're letting down and taking the hope away from those that are barely making it. I totally understand what you're talking about and yes, I would've gotten it the wrong way too, if he'd ask my child that. It's the country's duty to help, but it's not ours. We can only give up so much to sacrafice certain things. My heart goes out to those who've lost plenty more in the Hurricane, but that's ( ... )

Seriously! The MAIN thing they're concerned about is that their name & the school is recognized in helping out, when in reality, them helping out is appreciated, but nothing so great that a benefit concert or a celebrity's donation would be put to shame. They just want their name out there. Shitheads. Tell your kids not to listen to their prinicpal when she starts talking all that mumbo-jumbo bullshit. Shit, I'd probably grab and mic too and tell her to give up half her paycheck and/or work for free and see how good that'll make her feel. Everywhere I look, ALL the money is going to Help the Hurricane Victims. It's good to help and to donate.. yeah if you're RICH and ballin out the bank. Sheesh. Either way, you're amazing and it's so good that you keep it real. <33333
