Ahhh...that's the communal sigh of happiness from all Andy Roddick fans. I am so, so happy to see him win against Roger. It's been a long time coming, and he's worked so hard and played so well this year--he totally deserved this great win.

Hey, thanks for the drive by! TV Guide said the match was on FSN, but I turned there and found hockey, so I was relegated to online. I was clapping and yelling at a scoreboard on my computer, that's how sad I am. ;) Were you able to watch it?

BTW, the quote in your icon cracks me up. Here's hoping Marat gets back into the groove; he's so fun to watch when he's not down on himself too much. :)

No unfortunately not, I was also ranting at the scoreboard (I think there were quite a lot of us!). I hate it when nothing happens for a minute and I'm just there, poised to either laugh or cry!

I hope he does too. He's not having a good year so far but I hope he can turn it around. Idiotic optimism is always to be found in Marat fans!

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one. My hands were getting tired from clapping during my cheers and waiting for the damn thing to change. It helped though--he broke Rog when I really got going, hehe.

I know; I think it's the Russian mentality that both attracts fans and makes him so melancholy.
