I think I should be proud and not dismayed that, upon reading my entries from 2006, it didn't seem like I matured all that much. Except I KNOW that ain't true. I'm glad to be back on Livejournal. Excited about the yacht rock party at my house later tonight.

I've been playing catch up because of the sick and holiday festivities. Things are great. Moved to a big house in Oakland with friends, animals, children (2 days out of the week), games and constant karaoke. You said you're past your periodic existential crisis; I'm just reaching the end of mine. The proverbial god is making it pretty obvious that I'm only meant to keep Virgos around and, by doing so, live a life of turmoil.

Ah, yes. The all-Virgo lifestyle. I know it too well.

Things are swell with me. Shave and a haircut. Laying slightly lower than I have been, putting in time in the kitchen and clearing out the hose a bit. Still living in the Lower Haight with Dicky and Phoenix and a couple of other rapscallions. Still running the pirate army and setting things on fire for a living.

I'm about to head back to Texas for a week to do the Xmas thing.
As far as I can tell, all is well.
