I did indeed enjoy said discussion myself. And hope to have others. Maybe sooner rather than later?

Let's! Dub Room Special awaits. Do you have any plans Saturday?

I have to attend a Planned Parenthood Live Action Camp that I think runs until 4:00. After that, no plans.

It's still in its wrapper. I have resisted thus far.

I think I liked your Dalai Lama poem best, though you had a bunch of great ones in there. And I would never have guessed you were a nervous wreck! Jeez. You seemed completely relaxed on stage.

Honestly I probably wouldn't have noticed the first set being long if I hadn't had a humongous cup o'coffee right beforehand, for whatever that's worth. *grin* It wasn't "kill me now" long, for sure. Just a tad.

Thanks! Mark Minster's belly button poem ("Omphaloskepsis") was my fave. His short piece about the poets/musicians wearing glasses was improvised, too, or at least written/thought up on stage.

In retrospect, I think the "nerves" perhaps were the onset of a stomach virus I'm now keeping at bay. bleah. Soldiering on to Dayton, though!

Thanks! And it'll be very cool to hear you read at Voices. I'd like to hear Scott Sanders, too, so I'm thinking of going Monday unless you think Sat night will be any more gala.

saturday night will be a sentimental favorite, for the mayor's proclamation in anthony arnove's honor will be presented that night. but, other than that, the program is the same. if you come saturday, you'll get to hear james alexander thom and dark rain thom (who are not available monday); if you come monday, you'll get to hear SRS.

i've gently pointed people towards monday, simply because we're a little concerned for monday's turn-out. but, i leave it to you! either night, it should be pretty darn cool.

I think I'm leaning toward Monday. Sounds like it's going to be a great show!

I hope your knee is better now... Sounds like you've performed amazingly well despite that unfortunate set-back.

Much better, thanks. I didn't actually hit the ground; just hyperextended both knees. Not so graceful.
