Hey, if I'm not completely wiped out after work, I'm planning to stop by that open-mic too. See you there, hopefully!

I'm assuming it's going to be a pretty short time limit per person so I'm only bringing one, maybe two pages of stuff. We shall see. (I forgot to print anything out last night so hopefully I'll get a chance to stealth-print something at work. I *think* both poems I want are stashed in my email... here's hoping.)

It actually sounds like it's more geared towards visual artists showing & talking about their work, and I bet none of those folks have any clue about a time limit. Hopefully I'll be able to get signed up early on in case things really drag. ;) (And hopefully there will be someone there enforcing time limits. God, I'm getting to be a crank about open-mics in my old age!)

I kind of got that impression, too. We'll be so unique! And re: time limits: there is a very fine line between great open mic and small eternity in hell. :)
