Let them jump!Apparently women's ski jumping has been blocked by the IOC - supposedly this is due to a lack of elite women ski jumpers, but it seems pretty apparent that this is an instance of discrimination. I don't ski, but it boils my bottom to see that a group of dedicated, talented women are being kept from doing so in the highest ( Read more... ) -

Not feeling this morning at all. Chicago is not only a wretchedly cold winter place, it provides us inhabitants with only the most schizoid of weather conditions.
