[poem] hunger

Hunger

We found ourselves feeding love
to each others' hungry hearts,
and it was almost cruel
how quickly we were nourished
after starving for so long,
and with so much left to taste.

I absolutely adore this poem. It captures so easily and succinctly not just one but a couple of emotions I have felt and valued in the feeling but which are rarely discussed.
