Tea Fire 2008
Well..it has been quite a week. One week ago tomorrow around 5:50pm a wildfire broke out near where I live. I evacuated in 20 mins gathered my 5 files boxes filled with pictures, bank account stuff, insurance docs, income tax,etc...I grabbed clothes off the floor and stuffed 2 suitcases with all the clothes I could...making sure I grabbed two

I know we haven't taked in eons, but I'm glad to hear you didn't lose your home. When that fire hit all I did was sit online and by the TV tracking where it was and where it was going and I KNEW it was heading right for where you said you lived. I was obsessed with Google Maps showing where it was and when I saw how close it started to you, all I could think was "OMG I wish I was still talking to her so I could help!!!" I kept wishing I had gone into the hills behind the Bowl so I had a visual in my head of where everything was and what it looked like. I saw video of Parma Park on fire and thought, OMG, it HAD to have affected you if not burned you out. I so clearly remember you saying Parma Park was bad news when it came to fires! I googled the hell out of the street you said you lived on to see if there was any news (I didn't know if you were still there or not) and came across things saying that street in particular would be extremely dangerous if a fire hit.
