Whenever work's got me down, and it happens about once a day, particularly since I haven't been able to go on the ol' LJ since I've been working there, I have a sort of a ritual. I like to grab my iPod and my DS Lite, and I go to the handicapped stall on the bathroom, put Jesus Jones's "International Bright Young You" on, pop in Super Mario ( Read more... )

It's "International Bright Young Thing"

The best song on that album, though, is "Welcome Back, Victoria", in my opinion.

I was about to correct the same thing. Except I like Real, Real, Real.

I bought that album used on CD from a Pawn Shop in Chapel Hill, NC the summer after 8th grade while I was at Duke University nerd camp. I still have it, though it's all on the iPod now. God, I'm old.

I bought mine at... alas, Virgin Megastore. But it's still a good cd, no matter where I happened to purchase it.

Yeah, I realized that as soon as... well, as soon as you mentioned it, which I guess doesn't count for much. It's always been wrong in my head, because on my iPod it only has room on the screen for "International Bright You..." And if you stay on the song title for a while it'll scroll, but I rarely do that.

Still I think that my song is a way better to rock out to while hiding in the bathroom.

All heroes are crazy, when you get right down to it. I mean, in the 1400's it was crazy to try to sail the wrong way to India from Spain.

...And I guess it still is, since there's that whole continent thing in the way, but that's not the point I was getting at here.

You and the poop stories.

I still say that mucus does not belong in poop, by the way. Nothing can take that away from me.
