My co-worker, who shares a pod (it's like a bigger cubicle) with me, is currently crying (and I mean that literally.  Tears are streaming down her face) because she doesn't think she's going to get an iPhone.  She had thought that she would be able to get one if she left here to get on line at 5:00 (ha!) because "well, they're not selling them ( Read more... )

Well, I do have to work with her. I wouldn't want to be too mean. I prefer to keep my attacks on a level just below her understanding. It lets me keep my job and it also makes me feel like a British butler.

I thought about it, but I see no reason to be cruel about it. She's already not getting one, and I let her know that a number of times. Why break the poor girl's heart?

Yeah except that I don't actually want one very much. Like, what does it do that everything I already own doesn't already do? Oh yeah, only work with AT&T.
