I do understand what you're saying here because I myself go through quite a similar way of life. Every waking day I arise to the infinite numbers of flaws and imperfections of myself which I can rarely ever fix. Whether they are mental or physical, my shortcomings haunt me on a daily basis and there are some times when I think I can't take it any longer. Also, having an obsessive compulsive disorder on top of major social anxiety, plus a few mild phobias, it's just all the more enjoyable
