Proven Guilty

I finished the plot summary for _Proven Guilty_ and posted it on Wikipedia:

I’m glad it’s done! It was hard to get into this book. It was hanging over my head-like the “doom of Damocles.”

Some books are just that way and there's no getting over it I guess. :0) I'm not overly fond of Proven Guilty either, though the history about Molly's mother is interesting and add a level of depth to her character that makes it easier to understand why she's so wary and unhappy with Harry (beyond getting Michael into danger - which she should know better given what her husband is).

Your page looks good, even if Wiki is claiming that the summary is too long and too detailed! What do they want? Five words?

I have tried to read Bujold's Spirit Ring but I only got about three chapters in before getting distracted by, I must admit, more interesting fare like P.J. Alderman's Haunting Jordan, which is a mix of mysteries and hauntings, jumping back and forth between the present day and 1890 in a port town on the NW coast. I much prefer Bujold's other SF and Fantasy books. I think part of the problem, other than the subject matter, is that this book is her first effort in the fantasy genre and it shows.

Yes, I think that a book summary length is subjective.

I liked the concepts in the _Spirit Ring_, so I never sold it. If you want to bring it back unread, there's no guilt.

I'm reading your _Ghost Story_, so I can return it soon.
