The third choice, of course!

As expected of you two.

Did the knives work out, by the way?

They did. Cutting people apart is a really fun!

So is hearing of it. Make sure to keep it up, there are many, many citizens that have, so far, escaped being cut up~

You may be able to contact the mayor over the phone. Sometimes he responds. Or you could try going to town hall to meet him in person.

I'd sacrifice anyone but myself if I knew it was a genuine deal.

Thank you, that is good to know. Is there anything, ah, that one should keep in mind - other than, of course, the threat of being brainwashed at the drop of a metaphorical hat?

Most would do so, but few would admit it.

I haven't dealt much with him personally. The drones and the enforcers act as though I am simply a child to be ignored based on my appearance. You may find he will not treat you with any seriousness if you are stuck in the same situation. The mayor is obviously aware that most of us are not normal, but it would be a convenient way for him to avoid answering your questions.

They would have died and forgotten this life eventually anyway. May as well put their deaths to good use.

Yes, a fair point. I, too, am considered a child, so I assume this place might treat me similarly.

Blunt and to the point. Death is inevitable, after all. Well, for mortals, that is.

Bushido is fairly clear on this matter.

First the annoying peasant that got in the way and thus can be struck down as allowed by law, and barring that oneself, correct?

Many samurai have strayed from the truth path of bushido but if those in trouble cannot be rescued and killing yourself is the only option, it is best to retain one's honor.

That is a honorable position, true. I hope, for your sake, that it will not be needed. Sacrifice is always so messy.

What is the point of this speculation?

The same as all kinds of philosophy: Entertainment in a moment of boredom.

Idle and meaningless indeed.

Quite so, quite so. But it is serving its purpose just fine.

I'll sacrifice my life, if that's what it takes to keep the Tenth and the Vongola safe.

beatssuperpaper March 28 2010, 14:40:01 UTC
That is quite the dedication, almost like my piece.

ohmytenth March 28 2010, 14:41:20 UTC
That's what's expected of me, I am the right hand man after all. ..."Piece"?

Ah, a word from the place I come from that usually refers to a kind of servant, or a person working on your side.
In Erika's case, I suppose right hand woman would also work. As long as she gets praise sometimes she's that, after all.
