It's just taxes. Nothing to feel all that strongly about.

It just means the town has brought us one of the two certainities in human life. The other will, possibly, be gifted to us by Mayfield soon after, but that's an afterthought and not something to worry about, right?

Some believe that repetition improves things like that. I wouldn't put it past some of the... ones who are in control, for the time being.
