 I need alternatives to The WEdding March.  It really just isn't...me.  I am pretty stuck on Canon in D, but Colin wants to have bagpipes and well...it sounds...um...like crap, on the pipes.  Sad, but true.  We might be be able to get a live piper, so we might be using taped music, so I might be able to do Canon in D...but

I have to agree. I don't think Canon in D would sound so hot on pipes. You might do a bag pipe music search though and see if you can find an MP3 of ti and see if you like it. Or might find some other pipes stuff you like.

I'm assuming he wants bagpipes to make the wedding kind of Scottish-y? If so, the wedding march wouldn't be played on pipes - they're used specifically at traditional weddings here outside the church to "Play people inside" as it were.
