Today's OneWord was "scarf." Guess what (who) I wrote about? ;-)

I had sixty seconds to write something - after a few false starts I got this:

The man was reduced to an image - an icon of the man in the coat, hat and scarf. That whole life, all 44 years of it distilled into this single image that every French man and woman kne ... (ran out of time!)
