Her skin is warm against his. Her strawberry scent is mixing with Terri's fading lavender. Her tousled blonde locks makes his heart ache. She's much smaller than Terri but looking at her now, in the pale moon light he can almost imagine. For the first time since he walked out that door all those months ago, he allows himself to miss her. His nights had been filled with anger, now he's just sad and heart broken all over again. He misses his home. These walls aren't the same without her.
He flips on his side and moves closer. Wraps his arm around her tiny waist and buries his face in her soft hair. He closes his eyes and pretends he's home.
