Oh, it feels so wonderful to see the sun again! Even though it's artificial, it seems like warmest, most beautiful light I've ever seen. Just to be able to open up the windows again and let in some fresh air, to see people in the streets below once more...it really does do wonders for the spirit!

I can't tell you how much a relief it is to be able to leave the building again. Whatever it was that happened out there, I'm glad it's made the difference.

Yes, I agree! We should all be very grateful to those brave enough to keep the darkness at bay. Wasn't that phoenix creature beautiful? I couldn't help staring at it until my eyes watered from the brightness of it...

I only wish I could have helped somehow. That creature was... fascinating. I can't imagine what sort of power brought it here, or... well, it's really just amazing.

It never hurts to be cautious. I'd feel much the same were it not for the presence of the phoenix. Whatever it was or where it came from, I believe it heralded a security against such a spell. Even I could see how powerful it was.

I have never been so happy to see the sun before, or whatever it is that glows above me in the domes. But when I arrived I thought I had gone blind in the darkness.

Are the weather and magic always so volatile here?

This is the first time something like this has happened since I've been here, though I admit I haven't been here long. As for magic, well...before I came here, I thought magic was just fantasy! I know even less about the state of magic, I'm afraid.
