I'm lucky in that I seem to fit the bill well enough! Though some shopkeepers aren't very fond of my ankles. I can't say that's ever happened to me before ( Read more... )

[somber tone] Myths.

I don't suppose you know the mythos of the Time Lords.

I'm afraid I don't. Who are they?

Your sense of time in a linear perspective? Wrong. Your sense of time happening and concretely remaining in place? Childish.

The Time Lords are the keepers of the longest reign in the history of history.

Would I be correct in saying there is a particular myth which sparks your interest, Mademoiselle?

Oh, I enjoy them all! I don't think I could really pick one over the other...

Ah, I could not agree more, mon cher. I feel the very same when it comes to poetry. Most poetry.

Oh, poetry! Some of the best tales of epic heroism have been penned as poetry. Do you have any favorites? I wouldn't be surprised if you'd written some yourself!

I happen to come from a world full of fantastic stories. Are you familiar with some of the Golden Age history? Such as Snow White or Cinderella?

beautiful_tale September 10 2010, 19:45:23 UTC
Well, they sound familiar, though I'm not sure they're the exact same. Your world sounds wonderful, though! Stories really do add so much more joy to life!

Oh then you are sure to love my stories then! Which would you like to hear? Something tells me that you would love the tale of the sweet princess Snow White.

I'd love to hear the tale of Snow White! Are there sword fights?

Most of the shopkeepers don't like me very much anyway.

They just haven't had the chance to get to know you. It's alright.

You...you really think that's all?

beautiful_tale September 14 2010, 05:38:04 UTC
Well, perhaps roaring at them doesn't help very much...

There are a lot of stories where I come from.

[Link pauses in shock. He promised not to say anything about them!]

Uhm...but I don't know much about them...

U-uhm...

[He'd having trouble deciding how much info he can dish out.]

A-about the Goddesses mostly. I know there are three of them, but that's about it...

Goddesses! And they really exist in your world or is it just mythology?
