[She watches the two of them, leaning back into the pillow behind her with a tired, but content sigh. Sleep sounded so wonderful now but looking away from her son was impossible for her right now.
Jonathan only barely blinked up at Allen, eyes squinted in the light of the room.] Allen... I wanted to ask something of you.
[Her smile is bright as she looks up at him.] Thank you, Doctor. He's... my baby. My precious son... [Even saying it out loud didn't seem real. It was all so dreamlike.]
...I'd love to. *Very gently holding Jonathon, he's been a father before, he knows how to do this properly.* You are such a gorgeous young boy, Jonathon.
*Looking up at Lavi, smiling.* Looks like the TARDIS might be getting domesticated after all.
[She leans back into the pillow and watches the two with a content smile. She doubts she could fall asleep any time soon, no matter how tired she was.
His comment makes her laugh.] You'll have to watch out when he gets older. He'll probably be trying to pull all the levers and push all the buttons he can find.
[So she might have given him arthritis in his hand, but that's okay. Jonathan, with his dark hair and tinted skin doesn't remind her of herself but more of...] He looks like you.
[Looks up to look at Fugue.] I'm sorry about... You know, yelling and cursing at you.
[The hand does ache quite a bit, yes. He studies the boy, committing him to memory.] But his eyes have your light in them even if he looks a lot like me.
[He waves it off and laughs.] Its fine, I've dealt with much worse before, lass. All part of being alive.
[She nods lightly, still smiling despite her fatigue.] My heart is still fluttering... I can't believe this is all real! [She presses a free hand to her eye, attempting to stop a few tears from falling.
Lavi looks up at him when she's a bit more composed. Just barely.] Would you like to hold him?
[All those happy feelings? Gone. She holds Jonathan to her chest protectively, hiding his face from view. Slowly turns to look at him, eye wide.] Y-You...
What are you going to do? [Score! Her voice didn't tremble. She tries to scoot away from him, wondering if she has enough strength in her legs to get up...]

[He shuts his eyes for a moment and pulls a chair over to finally sit down.] Not that, that's a bad thing - spitfire is needed in this world.
