City people think they're so cool with their extra-sweat-inducing clothing.

1. i dont look like a goober at all in the t rex picture.
2. we did not sleep well the second night because of dad's snoring.
3. and you left out that the taxi drivers are crazy. (and our family is too)

1. I said goob, not goober.
2. I forgot about that. Perhaps it was more that I really wanted to sleep well that night.
3. It's assumed that New York taxi drivers are crazy.

I love New York, hope someday to return sans parents and cranky step grandmother. I'm way jealous of the Yankees game; I'm seeing the Cubs this summer and I'm pretty sure it will be the athletic event highlight of my life.

It was really great to get out and just be me and my sister and not have to worry about the twenty other people in our group. That was my second MLB game. I saw the Braves beat the Expos in Montreal in July 2001, but I didn't pay attention and I didn't care about the game. Baseball can be suprisingly entertaining.

good recap!

be glad you didnt go to see the Statue of Liberty. I went to it back in high school and actually got to go inside up to the head. Biggest dissapointment EVER. It was smaller than my room inside, i expected it to be huge and magestic.

Yeah, the only reason I would have wanted to go out there was to see the location of the X-Men's most famous filmed battle (that is until they fight on the Golden Gate Bridge next week; I've already seen that landmark, though).

-it seems you are wrong about the two-people-reading-this thing.

-i am jealous of the NYC trip. i have only driven through and i've seen all the famous stuff from an airplane on a super-clear day when we flew to boston via newark.

-i would have to agree 100% that FAO Schwarz is lame-o and disappointing - except for the giant aquarium-column full of barbie shoes that that san fran one has.
