Its not a matter of 30 pounds, no real guy cares about that in the long run. You do put off this intimating feeling at times which makes you difficult to approach. Its just hard to get close to you if you dont know you. My other guess is they look easy (no offense to her) which makes them easily approachable for guys because they think they can get some. By dressing like that its kind of a way of saying hey i want guys to notice me. Also thats a party setting and unless your showing something off guys go to the ones who are.I dont know if this helps at all? I mean if you want to test this show alot of cleavage, its not attention for the right reason but guys will talk to you. i dont know what to tell ya and im sorry if it offended you at all.I know that all this seems so superfical but thats generally how most guys act at like a frat party or something. Its not a question of 30 pounds though.

Guys are looking at the same things girls are at a party. Do you look at the overweight guys or the athletic fit looking guys. That is obviously not all that matters to either sex, but that is what first draws our attention and makes us approach someone.

Hi. I'm Lauren, who are you? I totally understand your point, but I wasn't really asking what guys are looking for at a party... I know the answer to that... I mean on a more personal level, not confined to parties. A hookup (ie, wanting someone) is totally different from liking someone. My question was specifically, what personality traits of mine prevent such occura(e)nces, if any... and if none exist, it is truly merely my weight?
