Finally some peace... I've done (almost) everything that I'm supposed to do- I've bitten the proverbial bullet on many counts and am ready to have loads of fun. really. next monday is my last art class- I've loved it- loved the kids and the experience and the money didn't hurt either. I'll quit JobLot as of the 15th and my last italian class is

Kerry just blew steam. Edwards' two americas speech is the ice ice baby of politics. The real guy at the convention who got me going was Barakh Obama, Tuesday night's keynote speaker. Young, optimistic, and the most articulate politician I've seen. Not to mention he's black and from Illinois.

I feel more qualified to tlk on the young kid issue opposed to the kerry thing. (yeah just that thing of electing the leader of our country.) and

This isn't, by any means, meant to sound offensive or anything Lauren, but rather than say that your dad is ignorant for supporting Bush, couldn't you say that you two just have a different opinion on how the US' military defense should be run? From my side, I think Bush alienating so many countries was foolish, and yes, it does turn out that Saddam's supposed immediate threat on the US was based on bad information. However, Bush was acting on information from at least THREE reliable countries' secret service information, during a time when America was afraid and wanted to feel secure again. Bush did what he felt he had to do, and I do not hold that against him, nor do I think your father's opinion is an ignorant one, just one that is different from your own. Fine if you wish to disagree, but that doesn't make him (or any other Bush supporter) ignorant
