Everywhere I've looked says Aug 22--can't you pre-order the season on amazon or through Chapters or something? I've seen it for on a bunch of websites and stores.

Also--season 3 starts October 3. On the CW, at least, so if a Canadian network is picking it up in the same time slot, that's when it should start.

No. We haven't had the DVDs yet in our region, for either season.

I'm still assuming you haven't seen season two yet and I just checked the Canada fall schedule and it says that it'll pick up the second season on September 4th. Though I don't know how legit that announcement article was. But if you're looking to buy the S2 DVD set, it says it'll be available on August 22nd as you predicted. Oh, and you definitely will not be disappointed. I guarantee that. :)

Season three for Veronica Mars starts on October 3rd here in the U.S.
