This today was a great day. I really had a wonderful day. It was filled with compliments and love. No stress. It was great!

So there is this gentleman I meet occassionally.... he always puts me in the best mood. I love hanging out with him. In fact I wish I could do it more often.

Today at work, I had a student who demanded his transcripts etc. and then he told me why.

He is being shipped off to Afghanistan.

My heart sank. 
I looked at him and thought there was this possibility that I might actually have met someone who will die in this war. A war we didn't start. 
I asked him if he was nervous.
