I saw this movie on lifetime .. yes, I usually don't watch lifetime, but it peaked my interest and so I watched some of it. Needless to say, it was incredibly lame, poorly scripted, and oh yea, horribly patronizing. To the extreme

Fat suits are kind of lame. People know they are wearing a fat suite, and the feel is totally different I'm sure. I think the mentality is different as well. Most people that I know who were formally fat or have been working to get in shape (or not) have little sympathy for fat people. Sure they feel bad for children who're overweight (because those are just children), but they usually have little sympathy for adults. However people who jump into a fat suite seem to have so much pity for all overweight people.

Kind of reminds me of the pregnant suit... Ah and on E's The Soup, they always make a point to bash any show that does the day in a fat suite thing. Tyra has done it too... The Soup always pokes fu at Tyra though. (^_^)

I prefer documentaries and other TV shows with/on actual obese people. They're much more realistic and actually educational than someone like Tyra Banks or some other actress walking around in one of those suits.
