Never have I seen or heard a band that sounds like Alter Bridge does live. Even in a horrible sounding pavilion, Alter Bridge managed to pull of a clear, musical sound. Myles Kennedy has to be about the best live singer ever. Tremonti isn't a bad guitar player at all. I never would have expected these things from Creed. This is why Alter Bridge

Scott Stapp was a double edged sword to Creed. He really has an amazing voice, but his ego really really was the downfall of Creed.

Mark on the other hand...holy shit man, the dude is a fuckin' shredder. His progressive blues approach to the guitar is something that a lot of modern guitarist just can't master.

But hell, take all the great guitarist: Randy, Dimebag, Zakk, Jimi, Satriani, Via, they all understood that great guitar playing came from blues scales- and they just put their own little twist to it.

Speaking of Tremonti; you should see the fucker's house. ...mother of god... [ / drool ]

Tremonti took all the right elements and slapped 'em together. Even his effects just kinda compliment his style.

I'd have to dissagree with the Scott Stapp having an amazing voice.

It bothered me to no end to the point where I wanted to smash the radio whenever I heard his whiny voice. But that's just my personal oppinion.

and my ex-roommate loved them. (still love her, but my god did that music blow)
