no :) you're not a loser. Not everyone has to listen to NIN. I didn't start until recently. My friend gave me The Downward Spiral and Pretty Hate Mashine and I like them both.

With Teeth is good. I don't think you really like a lot of Industrial, though.

I'm not that big a NIN fan myself...

But Hand That Bleed really seems like a huge step down from what they were doing before!

With the exception of "I was up above it" their music has generally had a dark feel to it.

Let me reinterate that...it was a big change that I wasn't too crazy about it!

Hand That Bleeds doesn't really seem too dark. It's hard rock, indeed it is.

This album didn't really impress me much.

Pretty Hate Machine ... now there was a work of art.
