"Not what you wanted to hear?" Who cares what I think? Tell me what you think. You confuse me and make me laugh, definately strong personality. I haven´t heard of some of your bands, but it seems a lot like what we listen to. I know some people from Israel. I´d never have the balls to live there by what they tell me. Eurovision song contest. Hmm...Why can´t all the countries just put some effort into the songs for once?! Its more about the show than the music.
Just shtuf like "Yeah I was walking down the street and this bomb went off around the corner....and we carry gas masks to school...and a guy in our class can´t come to school some days because he lives inside the wall..." I guess it just sounds worse than it is.
perhaps.. maybe I just got lucky. Don't know We don't carry *gas masks* to school most of the time. We did when the *war w/Iraq* was about to start. I was in army and we had rasied alert level, obviously. As for the bombs .. yes, it happens. Less lately. But it's not as dangerous as us killing ourselves. How many people were killed (or seriously injured) from car accidents in the last year? I'd say at least ten times as many as from terror acts. I suppose Finland shouldn't be much better in that aspect
+ Tesla + Dream Theater fuckin' rocks! Metropolis Pt. 1 is a kickass song! Have you ever noticed that there is a little part in there that sounds like old Sega games? ^__^ + Alice Cooper. I don't know too much of the old stuff either, but Dragontown is a good album! + Most of your opinions. I'm not completely super liberal with all my opinions and I didn't support Kerry (nor did I really want Bush again either), but what does it matter. Too late now! + Be glad you said something about Douglas Adams. I was working on ripping you a new one if you had just seen the movie and had a picture of Marvin. Honestly, I was somewhat disappointed in the movie. It was good if you didn't know the books. They left out so much of the basic funny stuff! + You have cool eyes.
I'd reply that I had that icon from *before* seeing the movie. Plus I'd send you here. I agree. The worst part about the movie was the romance thing. However, it's still good in the way it helped some of us to bring our friends and 'convert' them. I had a friend with me when I saw the movie and she liked it (and now reads the book) - and in front of us sat a couple just like that as well.
I *love* scenes from a memory. Actually I like most of their things I know (I still need to listen to 'change of seasons, when dream & day unite, train of thought & majesty demos - and of course Octavarium). I'm not really into falling into infinity (except the ballads). I like DT when they are heavy more, I guess.
As for Alice, funnily enough I don't know Dragontown. I somehow skipped it and went from Brutal Planet to The Eyes... I will get back to it, of course. He has the best lyrics I know and that is the reason I love him (that and the cheesy ballad. Plus in Feed My Frankenstein he has Vai and Satch play the solo.. now *that* is awesome)
I saw you like Manson... Are you familiar with Skolds' solo CD?
