I mostly listened to whatever my mom and dad had me listen to. Here's sort of a list.

Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, REM, The Beatles, Cat Stephens, The Who, Eric Clappton, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns n' Roses, Poison, Cindy Loper, Boston, Queen, Randy Travis, and plenty of other really awful country artists.

I honestly don't remember what I listened to. It was basically whatever my brother was into at the time. So Rammstein, Metallica, etc.

I listened to the Beatles, Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Van Halen, and basically lots of really good bands that my parents liked back in the day.

What's wrong with raffi?

Ring ring ring ring ring banana phone...sing song sing song sing song sing Banana Phoooooone. I've got this feeling, so a-peeling, cellular, modular, inter-active-odular!!!!

And for the record: Chuck Berry.

I did listen to children's music, but I can not remember any of it besides Fred Penner and Charlotte Diamond. I had a fairly huge collection though.
