What do you look for in music?

Do you look for lyrics?

Is it a nice beat that gets you going?

I can't really explain what I look for. If it sounds pleasing to my ears, I'll like it. I haven't exactly found out my personal specifications for good sound yet.

I do know that I prefer lots of guitar solos and good shredding. Since I play guitar, listening to someone else who's really good at guitar is fun for me.

Hmmzr...in a band like A Perfect Circle, the lyrics are more important than for example Liquid Tension Experiment(okay, so they have no lyrics), Ayreon or Dream Theater(even though there´s nothing really wrong with their lyrics). If I relate to the song and it makes me feel something(even something bad), I´ll give it another spin in my walkman, if not, well, hello trashcan!
