This is my first post to this community, and I am sorry for it's lack of usefulness. I have a music related question, and I hope that this is the place to go to have it answered

I could of course be mistaken, but I don't think you're a stamped member of this community...unless you applied a VERY long time ago. And, I don't think this is the right community to answer that question. I'd suggest a music theory community or a community called music_geeks or something like that.
