The best album I have heard recently is Stadium Arcadium by the Chili Peppers. That album just has so many good songs on it; I can not get enough. I love it from start to finish, with my favorite song being Wet Sand.

What is the worst album/s you've heard recently?

I havent heard a bad album in forever, I don't really buy CDs anymore so all the music I have I love, so let me go with Shadows Fall "Fallout from the War" I didn't care for it too much like the rest of their albums.

What album/s do you love but have a difficult time listening to often?I love The Mars Volta and no matter how bad any of their albums might suck I will still buy every single one of them and listen to them for hours on end. Right now I have in my possession their new album which won't be out until the 22nd of August. I fucking love this album, but there are just some parts of it where I go What the fuck are they thinking. I am glad they got rid of a lot of the "just noise" from the last album and replaced it ( ... )

Best: Devin Townsend - Accelerated Evolution
This album continues to blow me away more and more with each lesson.

Worst: That's a tough a question. I generally don't listen to albums I know I'm not going to like. So...I don't know.

Love but can't listen to: Tool's new album. It really kicks ass, but I can't bring myself to put it in a whole lot.

Best: Definitely Stadium Arcadium. As was stated above, it has so many good songs, and let's face it. The Peppers have a great bassist in flea, and one of the best guitar players ever with John Frusciante. He really manages to pull this ablum together when it could have fallen apart.

Worst: Hmmm...... I don't tend to listen to many full ablums any more( With an ipod shuffle containing 2000 songs, it's cooler to just put it on shuffle.) But i would have to, oddly enough, say that damn James blunt cd. I occaisonally ride with my mom, and she loves it. He's a decent guitarists, but certainly nothing special, and the radio has so over played it, it makes me sick.

Love but can't listen to: Jack Johnson, Brush Fire Fairytales. I love this man and his guitar playing abilities, but i've just listened to it to much.

Why does everone think Flea is so good at bass?

Why does everyone think John Frusciante is good at guitar?

Why do you think they aren't?

Because they aren't (technically). I mean, they're fine at playing their instruments and the sound good, which is what matters. However, they aren't technically good.

BEST: I have to say the best albums I've reccently listened to are The Stooges: Stooges, and The Velvet Underground: The Velvet Underground & Nico. Groundbreaking stuff, really. It's raw, primal, and Lou Reed/Iggy Pop were making some very true statements.

WORST: RHCP: Stadium Arcadium, hands down. I hate that album. It just sounds bad to me.

LOVE BUT CAN'T LISTEN TO: Napalm Death: Scum has been irritating me lately. Their other work is much more persistant, and this album had weird production.

Best:
AFI's - Decemberunderground Davey Havok has a massive singing range and he's actually -used- it in this album. It's tons better than their previous, Sing the Sorrow.
Garden State OST It released over a year ago (so it really isn't all that new haha) but the overall feeling of the soundtrack is amazing. Zach Braff's got great musical taste.

Worst: Goo Goo Dolls - Let Love In They're one of my favorite bands so I was pretty disappointed when I got this huge 'blah-vibe' in the beginning. I put it down for a few weeks then picked it up again.. and now it's grown on me over the past 3 months cos it's helped me get over a major relationship. It's still not my favorite GGD release, but it's really not as bad as I thought.

Love but can't listen to:
Damien Rice - O I can't listen to this album for more than 2 songs at a time because I've got bad memories tied to the songs. I looooove DR's voice and his style of music is really nice.. but it always makes me feel down afterwards so I try to switch it up after a song or two.
