This community has kind of lost its flare. I hate that. I really, really want it to get going again. I miss having all our music talks and meeting new people through here.

So, for those of you that feel similar, we have some options.

We could just do simple promoting. I've whored out this community since day one.

No clue. We need to get some fun surveys or something going. And the current members need to reply and shit. We can't do anything if the current people don't respond to any posts.

Exactly. I know I didn't help much what with basic training and whatnot, but it never really picked up again after that. I was kind of thinking that submitting it as an LJ spotlight might be a good idea because I might even pitch it as a community that used to be a lot of fun, but needs some help getting back together again. I don't know. Just seemed like a decent idea.

I think we need some whoring. New applicants used to be a big part of the posts here.
But before that we might want to try to revive the community somehow (this I have no good suggestions for, sorry). People aren't going to be real excited about joining a community that has died.

here's a thought: maybe we should have all the current members re-apply, and just weed out the dead ones? it'd be like starting over, but that way, it would ensure at least a little activity.

and if you need any help modding, i'm willing to do what i can! my life has been a little crazy with work, but if you need an extra set of hands, let me know! :)

That's actually a pretty good idea. Reapplying might be the way to do it, especially since this community has closed membership. I'll have to think about that.

Even when this community is super active, it's still fairly easy to keep under control, but if I do need help, I'll direct it toward you. Thanks!

I agree completely. I've been working out some ideas for a few posts , just need to get them out of my head and in here.

I think if the current members were to start contributing more, new members would follow.
