Just got back from Dacia's. Finally met her mom Annette!. She was awesome. They go to New Orleans (where her mom was born and raised) every year for Mardi Gras and invited me for this coming February, so that will be cool. The last one i went to was like 12 or 13 years ago. When Dacia said she was half french i didn't realize she meant Creole. ( Read more... )

It was a chill day. I don't make my birthdays a big deal; I doubt I'd even bother to acknowledge them if no one else was around to do it for me. Thanks to everybody who wished me a happy one, by the way :)

Got the last of my paperwork for my apartment. I was not looking forward to moving back to Elmhurst when the notion first struck me, but it doesn't bother me anymore.
