Essay Questions
+If you could change one thing about yourself physically and emotionally, what would either one be...and why? I would change the fact that I'm very shy. If I spend a lot of time with a person, eventually I'll open up and be myself. But it's an instinct of mine to be very quiet and seclusive, so there's really no way around it. I'm working on it though! ;)
+If you had one day to live, what would you do and who would you tell? I would tell my closest friends, my boyfriend, and my family. I would probably spend the majority of time with my boyfriend though, because he's truly a live saver. He knows me better than my own family!
+If the person you most loved told you they were going to die, what would you do? I would spend every waking hour I had with them and made sure they'd be able to do everything they'd ever wished of doing before they died.
+If your best friend came out to be gay, what would you do? I'm bisexual, and the majority of my friends are either bi or gay. So I would treat them no differently than before hand.
+Do you hate anyone, and why? No, I don't hate anyone. I hate specific traits people have, like ignorance and those individuals that they believe they have to be drunk/drugged up in order to have a good time.
+Do you believe abortion is right? No, I don't believe abortion is right. You're killing an individual who had not had his/her chance to come into this world.
+Do you believe in sex before marriage? I think premarital sex is very idiotic. Considering the people involved in such a thing would most likely be teenagers, all their mind is on is lusting after one another and sex, and not about the consequences afterwards.
+How about interracial marriages? I don't see anything wrong with it. If anything, it'd make the new family much more diverse... if a couple had kids, it'd give them plently of heritages to be proud of. Those who disapprove of interracial marriages are more than likely very religious, which I don't have a problem with... but part of me makes me think that they're racist because of that; disapproving of someone just because of thier skin color is just as stupid as loathing someone for a certain color shirt they may be wearing.
+What do you think about religion? I'm Christian, but I am in no way religious. My family always attends a Polish church, so when they drag me along at times, it is really difficult for me to understand what the priest is saying. A couple years ago, I attended Sunday school, but that was again, in Polish so I didn't learn anything. So basically, since I didn't ever really learn anything about the Bible and every other religious aspect of Christianity, I don't really have a stand on the issue. I believe everyone is entitled to their own religion, because it is a free country. I don't understand why everyone has to believe in something so strongly, such as the Bible, and if suddenly someone believes they're wrong, it starts all this immature and pointless conflict.
+If you had to choose one thing to take with you to a desert island what would you bring? my guitar

This is a poem I wrote called "The Forest of Broken Dreams". I recently submitted it into the school newspaper.
A fine line between dreams and reality forms,
I am in a dark forest where mist covers all, this mist gently strokes these hundred-year-old trees,
Witness serenity weeping, for it misses pandemodium of its past,
Helpless in its beauty, helpless in its healing process...
The forest of broken dreams welcomes me.
Anxiously waiting your arrival until snow blankets the ground,
I turn my head, searching those paths that may consume your footsteps,
Waiting and waiting, growing lonesome in this fog, staring at the dividing paths,
Redemption and happiness awaits you here,
Find me, for I am lost in the forest of broken dreams.
Contemplating for hours, my conscience searches for a place where it can hide,
Hiding from reality, it is hiding from this horror we call life,
I cannot bear waiting any longer, patience has taken its toll,
I do not wish to dream any longer... in the forest of broken dreams.
Fresh warm blood, flesh cut by razors, now covers this white snow,
I am waiting, for what seems like an eternity is but a minute...
Moisture in hot tears now faded, now blended with this blood... my blood...
And I wait... as years seem to pass by, yet it has only been a second... in the forest of broken dreams.
Kiss me, for I have grown cold here,
No one has been here; I am the first,
Hold me, for I have been offered visions of the future in which I cannot bear to see come true,
The mist has been my only company; I am the last,
Join me here in the forest of broken dreams.
Etc.
+Share something, anything about yourself that you think we should know. Music's a big part of my life. I have been playing electric guitar for 4 years. I've been musicially inclined since I was seven, that's when I started to play the piano. I quit playing when I took up guitar because with guitar, I finally could play what I wanted to, as opposed to piano where all I played was classical pieces when I had a secret passion for learning jazz. Also, in my elementary school band, I played violin (4th grade) and clarinet (5th grade). But once I hit middle school and high school, band didn't interest me any longer. Oh, and I have been playing bass guitar for about a year.
