A/N: Huh. I guess it's aibakawaii's typical fluff fic. 8Dv Well, enjoy? Kinda poorly written though, I think.

Every night Nino loved Ohno. Every morning he'd realized that it was only a dream.

Nino didn't love Ohno like that, no matter how many times he'd think about it after dreaming. After he'd started having multiple similar dreams on falling in love with his best friend, Nino thought that it was his sub-conscious speaking. Whenever he met Ohno after having a dream though, Nino felt nothing but the friendly affection he always held for the man. Nino had no idea what the dreams meant, and he'd even consulted about them to Jun, but they couldn't come up with a conclusion.

A familiar, slight warmth touched his side, and Nino gave the arrival a small smile. Ohno wrapped an arm around him, probably by habit. Nino noticed having their picture taken by the camerawoman, but didn't pay attention. They were just being the normal 'Ohmiya' again.

Nino tried searching for a feeling within himself while he cuddled with Ohno. His heart definitely wasn't beating any quicker, and he felt a normal temperature. In fact, he felt completely at calm.

“You look confused, Nino-kun,” Ohno said softly.

“...I think I'm confused because I'm not,” Nino muttered back, furrowing his eyebrows.

Nino curled up on the bed, wondering why he was so confused. Ohno's my friend, I can't like him like that..

“Nino?” Ohno's soft voice entered the room. Nino jolted up, his heart pounding as Ohno entered the room. “Are you okay?”

“D-Don't come!” Nino turned his eyes away, shaking a little while the older man neared him despite his warning.

“Nino,” Ohno whispered, “are you scared of me?” Nino closed his eyes, feeling Ohno's arms bring him into a hug. “Don't you love me?” Ohno asked quietly.

“Yeah,” Nino murmured, letting Ohno's warmth fill him up and his shaking subsided. “I love you.”

Nino opened his eyes, and made another discovery from his dreams. He always woke up right after he'd confess his love. Nino yawned and slowly got out of bed, thinking some of his dreams were a little silly. It was silly that Nino could ever be so affected by Ohno to shake; he was so used to being only relaxed when Ohno was with him.

Although Nino knew by now that his dreams weren't trying to tell him that he loved Ohno, they were still annoying and tiring. It was probably because his feelings were so strong during the dreams that he felt exhausted already by the start of his day.

During work, Nino observed Ohno closely. He kept wondering what happened to cause the dreams- what if Ohno was the one who liked Nino? And maybe he hinted about it at some time, so Nino started dreaming..

Ohno suddenly tackled Nino, and Aiba joined somewhere in the middle of their struggle. “I'm not that oblivious,” Ohno said once they calmed down. “You keep staring at me~ What do you want?”

Nino blinked, and glanced at Aiba who winked. “Uh- do you wanna go out for dinner?”

Ohno hummed thoughtfully, then said with a smile, “Okay, sure.” Nino raised his eyebrows, unable to react to the answer. Ohno always rejected him for all the years they've been together.

“WOW!” Aiba exclaimed for Nino. “You have a date with Oh-chan! How fun,” he said cheerfully. Nino gaped at Ohno, but then he grinned brightly.

“Just make sure you don't tag along,” Nino then said to Aiba sternly.

The restaurant they went to wasn't a big one- Nino always preferred doing smaller things with Ohno anyway. That way they would both feel more comfortable with each other. “So? Why'd you accept?” Nino asked once they were seated in a secluded corner.

“Eh? You seemed desperate,” Ohno said as if it were the most obvious answer. Nino frowned at him.

“Did I really?” Nino couldn't even remember feeling desperate, but he could tell from the tone that Ohno was serious. “Sometimes I think you can read me better than I know myself,” Nino sighed, and Ohno chuckled. The two ate normally, as if this situation was something they did often as well. When they talked, it was mostly about work- until Ohno started drinking, that is.

“D'you know why I always rejected you?” Ohno said in a slightly tipsy voice. Nino raised his eyebrow at the man and shook his head. “'Cause I worried about what I'd do if I get drunk around you alone. That was the beginning anyways, later on I just did it for fun,” Ohno explained, and he giggled a little. It wasn't like Nino never experienced Ohno drunk, rather it happened quite a lot since they would often go out for group drinks. His curiosity piqued up when Ohno said 'around you alone' though.

“What kind of things did you worry about?” Nino asked innocently. Ohno pouted and didn't answer, then drank some more.

“We were always pretty close from the beginning, right? Well, I wondered if I might give you a drunken kiss or something, and you might worry about it.” Ohno smiled sheepishly. “If we're in a group, I don't have to focus on only you so much.”

“You worried that much about something like that?” Nino laughed. “I mean- I would understand if you gave me just a drunken kiss. I think it's overdoing it if you keep rejecting me for more than ten years now...”

Ohno laughed too and shrugged. “Well, I did start doing it for fun along the way,” he said guiltily, and Nino rolled his eyes at him.

“Anyway, let's go before you do get really drunk and molest me in public,” Nino teased.

Nino was shivering in the cold night, starting to feel impatient. He got out his phone and was about to call, when he heard his name, and he looked up. Ohno had such a warming smile on that Nino couldn't help the slight tingle in his heart. “Sorry I made you wait,” Ohno said, kissing Nino softly.

“Mm, it's fine,” Nino said and started walking to the car.

“I don't really like it, though,” Ohno said suddenly. Nino looked at him questioningly as he got into the car. “I mean,” Ohno said, getting in on the other side, “we can't kiss or anything while you're busy driving.”

Nino laughed and smacked Ohno lightly. “Don't be stupid, it's not like we can kiss on the train in public either.” He closed the door, letting the dark envelope them from view, then pulled Ohno to him into a deep kiss. However, there was suddenly loud and annoying honking surrounding them, and they had to break apart quickly in fear of paparazzi.

Nino gasped and woke up slightly sweaty, then grumpily shut his alarm off once he realized that he was back in the real world. “Well that was different,” Nino murmured, rubbing his face. Up until now, his dreams were only about the moment when they'd get together, or when he would realize that he was in love. It must be because of the dinner, Nino thought, remembering how Ohno confessed his worries on kissing Nino.

Nino sent a text to Ohno: I don't mind if you kiss me.

He wasn't sure what he meant by it, but maybe he'd be able to go out with Ohno more. Maybe the dreams were telling him that he didn't mind if he kissed Ohno; maybe they were telling him that he wouldn't mind falling in love.

The problem was that Nino still didn't feel his love for Ohno that he was sure should have come out by now. Even after their first dinner alone together, he only felt relaxed and comfortable like every other time spent with Ohno.

Nino almost dropped his phone when a reply text came; he forgot he'd even sent a message to Ohno. “Too much thinking lately,” Nino muttered to himself, viewing the reply: Hm... Wanna do it then? Been a while since Ohmiya SK.

Nino stared at the message, then hesitantly sent his answer.

Their kiss really was just like another SK skit- except with a lot less viewers and screaming around. The other Arashi members were there, cheering them on as a cameraman taped it. Ohno and Nino then made a peace sign at the camera, though Nino only felt halfhearted. He could remember the dream as clear as if it had happened last night- which was kind of strange since he never kissed a man so deeply before. He wondered if his imagination was just running off without his consent.

“Hey..Nino?” Jun hesitantly called. Nino tilted his head at him, wondering why the mature member still acted so shy sometimes. “Um, about Ohno...Why'd you wanna kiss him?”

“Ah..I wonder why,” Nino sighed, leaning back on his chair and staring up at the ceiling. “Do I want to kiss him after all?” Nino asked softly to no one in particular.

“You still have the dreams, don't you?” Jun asked, frowning concerned. “Nino, do you want them?”

Nino bit his lip. “Do I..?”

--

“Sometimes I don't feel like I deserve you,” Nino muttered into the man's bare chest.

Ohno yawned as he slowly became more awake, and lazily thread his long fingers through Nino's hair. “What are you saying so early in the morning?”

Nino smiled and shook his head, kissing Ohno's body. “Nn, it's nothing.” After a few moments in the morning's sunlight, they got out of bed and took a shower.

“Hey, you're not gonna feel lonely today, are you?” Ohno asked while he shampooed Nino's hair. “I'm gonna be away the whole day.”

Nino shook his head. “I'm not that needy..! Anyway, Aiba-chan will probably come to play games after he's done with work.”

Even though he'd said that, Nino was looking forward to Ohno's return in the night. He wasn't sure if he'd still be awake by the time the man came back, but he at least hoped for another morning with Ohno's warm body beside him.

Nino's eyes were drooping, and he was barely awake when he felt someone crawl into the space next to him.

“I'm home,” Ohno murmured softly into Nino's ear.

“Welcome back,” Nino whispered before falling asleep.

“....Damn it,” Nino muttered when he woke up alone in his bed. He rolled over on his side to face the empty space that Ohno would have been in in his dream. In his dreams? Nino wondered if he'd start having similar daydreams sometime- then maybe that would mean he finally fell in love.

--

“They're getting longer,” Nino told Jun worriedly. “The dreams seem to go on for full days with Ohno now- and I can remember each of them clearly.”

Jun stared at him, starting to worry as well. If what Nino said was true- that he still didn't harbor any feelings for Ohno in real life- then he had no idea what to tell the boy either.

“And the thing is I actually look forward to sleeping now,” Nino scoffed, then uttered in a small voice, “If this continues...what if I lose myself..?”

Jun frowned and held Nino's shoulders, giving him a slight shake. “You should talk to him about these dreams,” Jun said. “Tell Ohno.”

“Ah...yeah..” Nino decided to confront Ohno after filming was done. He was always closest to Ohno, so telling him about his dreams wasn't a problem at all- just like with the kiss.

“I wanna go fishing,” Ohno whined when Nino held him back. Nino scowled.

“Oh-chan, this is serious!”

Ohno looked at Nino with suddenly concerned eyes, and he grabbed Nino's hand gently. “What is it?”

Nino swallowed, suddenly feeling a slight tightening in his chest. His heart was beating quicker. “Hey, Oh-chan, is this a dream?” Nino asked in a light voice. Ohno blinked and shook his head.

“I'm pretty sure not. Are you okay?”

Nino smiled and kissed Ohno's cheek slowly. He felt Ohno's other hand touch his back comfortingly. “Kazu?”

Nino laughed softly and tucked his head onto Ohno's chest, feeling a small blush rise in his cheeks. He felt weak, but Ohno's hands were supporting.

“Maybe I'm in love,” Nino whispered.

“Eh..? I didn't hear you,” Ohno said, tilting his head.

Nino closed his eyes, feeling somewhat at peace finally. However, there was a new kind of tug at his heart- and yet it felt so much bigger than his dreams.

“Yeah, that's probably it,” Nino said, looking up at Ohno and smiling.
