it's a year in retrospect, here we go.
january:began the year with a boyfriend.i think i was happy.
february:went to dc, and had one of the best experiences of my life.i learned a lot, about myself and my country.broke up with said boyfriend.i'd changed.
march:i got sad.
april:celebrated my sixteenth year with a slurpee and a movie with someone i'd have sex with later.
may:you know how it goes.i yearned for something better.
june:met new people as i always do.i sort of gained hope for something, something.lame.
july:missed the blood brothers show.that's the one show i seriously regret missing.drove to lake michigan, interlochen arts camp followed.best time of my life, i know, but it interrupted some things.
august:returned from interlochen.got a car.what else matters.oh, and sex for the first time.
september:school.amanda ran away to california and i think my heart exploded.
october:homecoming.oh, more sex.went to ann arbor with emily on halloween.cute.
november:car crash #1 and #2.i worked on thanksgiving.spent that day in denny's at two am.
december:ridiculously sad.i'm pathetic.amanda came to stay with me for seven whole days and it's awesome.worked a lot, saved a lot, slept not so much.
i've done a lot of odd stuff this year.i've changed a lot, and the end of january will mark my one year of my affair with cigarettes.my demeanor has become a lot sadder, but i've given up on ever being able to change that.last year was full of being used and being difficult.i wanted to bring in 2004 some better way, but tonight i'll settle for what i'm getting.there are a thousand other places i'd rather be.but no one cared to ask.
new years resolutions [easy ones i can keep that must be done]:
:every time i wander into the kitchen out of boredom, i will instead wander down to use the treadmill.
:save money better.or, rather, save money at all.
