bought it yesterday, gave it 1 objective, democratic full listen of all 23 (23?) tracks with NO skipping, and I think it's the last time I'll listen to it too.

it's a sad thing when yr heroes end up fading away instead of burning out....

promise you'll listen to it at least ONCE more...
sometimes things need to grow on you a little. i have been reading good things that fags have said about the album, i want to stay hopeful.

haha- I think the reason that her music has gotten so vanilla is because she has too many loving fans that reassure her. she writes mediocre songs and everyone around her says it's gold, now she's shitting in a dixie cup and people are calling it ice cream. happy monday!

It's storytime- I remember YEARS ago, one of the 1st times I met you- you and 2 gal pals of yrs, robyn, james, and richie came over my house (my parent's house), we smoked in my backyard, and then hung out in my old bedroom (which was wallpapered w/ pictures of tori amos). when tori came up in conversation, I asked you if you liked her and I absolutely remember, crystal clear, 100% that you gave me a lukewarm answer like "Oh I used to like her" or "Well I respect her but I don't like the new stuff"- since then I've always assumed that you had relegated Tori to the "it's ok but not my cup of tea" category ( ... )
