We are going the weekend of May 10. I've never been to a ren fest, so it should be interesting.

You are in SCA but have never gone to Ren Fest? You deserve a spanling for that! :)

It is a lot of fun. Some of the shows are an absolute riot. Ded Bob is worth seeing at least once. I usually visit the forge and glass blowing demos. The Tortuga Twins are funny too.

This year they have added "All the King's Horses" featuring the Royal Lipizzan Stallions.

We also know a number of people in the Fest this year. Many LJ and convention people.

You will have fun, even if you aren't going with us. :P

There just won't be as many photos.

And damn! I wanted to get a photo of Hugme in the stocks. It would be a great badge for the wedding! :D

Hmm... yeah... it would be. But I don't think he's going to be with the crew on May 10th. But we'll see. If they give out free tickets at work again, I'm sure we'll be making another trip too.

Good deal! And I hope the kidlet is dresses. Might be an ordinance against him running around nekkid. It isn't Frolicon, after all. :)

Well technically just a diaper is enough for anywhere but a food establishment. But that would just encourage his nudity.
