so every senior at laurel has to give what's called a "senior speech." It has to be about twenty minutes and it can be on any topic of your choice. guess what i'm doing for my senior speech? that's right, NWT, musical theatre and Sondheim. Theme: how musical theatre is gonna change the world. ok, maybe not that drastic, but you catch my drift

at least you don't go to the same school. but nwt is so like... big in life.... that our speeches are going to be completely different. and even though people have similar and lovely experiences of nwt, they affect everyone in such deep and different ways that one hundred people could each give a speech on nwt and each could be completely different and compelling. and yeah, i know what my topic is going to be, what i'm going to write, and who's introducing it. i'm completely ocd.
