So I had a little get together tonight at a bar near my old job, to say a proper good-bye to my co-workers. Since being here in New York, my co-workers have been the bulk of my social life since I would spend at least 40 hours a week with them, so I have been missing them a lot. It has finally settled in that I am unemployed. The novelty has worn off, and though I am trusting in God to deliver me from this situation, my heart is scared. I have sour stomach I'm so scared! Why is waiting the hardest part of being human? It feels like suffering without an end in sight, and the amount of anxiety and stress that can build up through waiting is almost too much to bear.
