I colored my hair this morning. "Intense Auburn". They should have called it "fucking purple."

ETA: I will see if hubby can get a pic later that will let you see the purple. I can't WAIT to see what it looks like in the sun. Sigh.

HA! I thought of you after I posted this.

Purple hair is DEFINITELY not a bad thing if your intentions are to have purple hair. When you plan on seeing auburn however... not so much loving the purple. It's really sort of a black cherry on steroids color.

sounds as if it's going to fade to a sort of burgundy shade, which might not be too bad. although "auburn" usually suggest a deep orange-red :-(

It will be faded by the middle of next week due to all of the medicated shampoo that I use, and then I will probably love it. :)

Out in the sun tomorrow for The Boy's baseball tournament, I'll be shining like a big beacon. It's really stunningly fake out in the sun.
