Wow! Remind me never to doubt my mom again. The TV in West Linn went on the fritz and she replaced it with an HD (everything looks AMAZING). I don't think you have to worry Sarah. The networks will have to do public opinion polls and the resulats will show that most Americans can't afford to make the switch until the cost of the tech goes down a bit more. Then the networks will tell the government that the switch cannot come as early as 2006, more 2008. Wouldn't that suck to make the switch to all HD and lose over half of the viewers? Besides, HD signals can be recieved by analog sets. I hoped this has put your "America-hating" mind to rest. You rock Bear, thanks for caring. Ciao - Scott
