Christmas Wishlist.
OK, so I'm getting in on the act.
I'm had a trying year and giving makes me feel good. That said, I should probably have my own post up here for sharing too. Please let me know if you have your own wishlist and if there's anything I can make come true, I will. Just share a link as a comment.
1. I adore getting fic just for me. You all amaze me so much with your writing that whenever someone has written something with me in mind it makes me feel so special that I'm thought of. If anyone is thinking of doing that for me, then you will probably already know my kinks and my pairings, it's not like I hold those cards close to my chest.
2. You know what I love, a good giggle. So if anyone feels like sending me the most shockingly outrageous or ridiculous sex toy they can find I would appreciate the laugh. Sometimes we take fucking way too seriously.
3. Asterix books. Mark and I have been working on building a proper collection, we want them in both English and French so if you have a lonely one lying around or see one in a local charity/thrift store any contributions would be received gratefully.
4. Graphic novels. I appreciate art deeply. We've recently bought Mouse Guard and it's sequels and it's rekindled my desire to continue my collection. If there's a graphic novel or picture book that you consider to be well drawn, or you just love the style and want to share it with me then that would be lovely. I have a particular love of Shaun Tan but as yet own only one of his books: Eric.
5. Handmade cards with a little note in, make it a story, about the weather, a note about your favourite memory, I don't mind. I don't think we use our hands to write with enough any more, and I love the personalisation that goes into something like that.
6. I would love a job, if anyone can make that happen. ;)
7. Recipe recommendations. Recently I have been on a kick for vegetarian or fish, low calorie recipes. I love trying new things so if there's anything you want to share, bring it on!
8. Christmas decorations. My mother has collected hers over her whole lifetime and a few years ago I started the same thing. If you see something pretty that you think I'd like, or would like to make anything handmade, it would be given a warm and loving home.
9. Dog toys. This is really more for Baileydog than me. I put it here because he is staring at me balefully and reminding me that I spend too much time looking at my laptop. Baileydog likes things that are soft, like teddybears and things that are chewable, like nylabone. IDEK.
10. LJ subscription. Its one of those things that I can't justify buying myself but would always appreciate.
