The great thing with having an electronic journal is that I can edit things. Now for my own weird purpose of this entry I'm going to make a list of interesting chinese things I find out from my mother:

• Chinese girls should never smile in photographs with their teeth showing.
  
• It is bad luck to wash a wallet/purse. Never ever wash a wallet/purse
