Obviously we've all been pulled in from different worlds. Or different points in time, I guess, for some of you, and I've been wondering, where is everyone else from? What's your world like? That sort of thing.

[Infirmary Filter]

My name's Will Parry, and I've volunteered to assist in the infirmary with the rest of you. So, who else is working here,

like a human tricorder, [game]: lastvoyages, my multiverse is weird, never lost it, relevant to my interests

The Grid was created using known rules; rules maintain order. Disturbances to the System are eliminated to perfect it.

I'm not familiar with the Grid.

You know, I've never had to explain the modern world. We've got all the perks, I guess. Internet. Indoor plumbing. Electricity. It's pretty easy, for most people.

2001. I guess you've probably got a decent leg up on technology.

My world's like the modern world you've heard of, only we've got the Doctor and aliens there.

The Doctor? As in, The Doctor?

Yes. I'm guessing you've got the show then?

Yeah. I didn't exactly watch it, but everyone knows Doctor Who.

Oh Heroes. xD becauseheswill July 7 2011, 15:40:57 UTC
Is there anything unique about where you're from? In coming here, what's the biggest difference between your world and someone else's?

Does it involve a complicated math equation? xD becauseheswill July 7 2011, 16:03:41 UTC
So, like, American comic book characters? Superman and things like that?

My world seems slightly different from most of the ones I've heard about here. Early twenty-first century, computers and cell phones and all of that, but we preferred airships to planes until the very end of the last century.

And England's a republic. It appears to be a monarchy in most of the other worlds represented here--correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, in my world, there is a Queen, but she doesn't exactly run the country anymore, and hasn't for a while. Most of the governmental stuff is handled by Parliament and the Prime Minister.

So a nominal monarchy, then. Is the United Kingdom still--united, for lack of a better word?

Yes. What happened to it where you're from?
