So I kinda knew that I’ve been loosing weight.  I’ve been fitting into skirts that I couldn’t fit into when I first moved to Vancouver, my favourite skirt doesn’t fit me anymore unless I hold it up all day at the office because it will fall right off of me, yesterday I wore my yoga pants out for a walk and I had to hold them up with both hands

does a mud flap really not soak the rider? or does it just "help"?

hmmm, good question. i think that the mud flap pretty much stops the spray but i'm sure that side splashing does occur. :P
get a bike!!! they are way cheap right now.
