Things have been very busy and rather difficult lately, hence I have been neglecting updating my journal.
Here is a rundown of the highlights and lowlights of the past couple of weeks.

+ Finally being able to afford to eat something other than beans
+ My second job at the gym being actually kinda fun on the weekends
+ 14 more days until I’m on a ( Read more... )

OMG VERONICA MARS AND ANTM!~ IM SO GLAD IM DONE MY HW... actually f*ck it I already rented movies, I'm gonna have to DOWNLOAD.

It sucks to come face to face with the fear of death, but it is something that pretty much guaranteed everyone will experience in their lives. I think it's pretty natural and it can be good because it helps you to realize how much the things that matter to you, matter to you!

/done smarmy :P

i never used to be afraid of death... but when i saw my baba die and then my mum get sick i developed a crippling fear of death and dying. i have a lot of anxiety that being over here i will miss out on teh last bits of people's lives.. that they will leave without me being able to say goodbye. hahah, neurosssis

i actually do love legumes. my nickname at my first job was chickpeas as i would bring a can of beans every day for lunch.

that being said, cans of beans are good... me soaking and making my own beans? i must not be doing it right, they come out a gross tasteless mess.

Change careers to what? I am curious.

The cd exchange will cheer you up!

after i wrote this i realized that i forgot to put the cd exchange in my highlights section. i'm really excited not only to make my cd but to see what else is turning people's wheels right now.

i'm still considering going to school for interior design.

wooo Interior design is HOTTTTT...

I don't say that only because that's what I took. But it is stressful, time consuming and the supplies are financially draining.

i know that it would be very difficult... i feel like i'm at the same crossroads again that i was at when i finished high school. i had a choice between goign to art school which i could potentially be horrible at or go to school to be a secretary which would be easy and would guarentee me a job.

do i take the easy road again? am i going to let my life be governed by fear of failure? do i owe myself a challenge in life? :P these are among the millions of quesions running through my mind.

apparently American thanksgiving is on November 23rd, which is a Thursday which means i don't work in the evening ..which means i'm totally in! i could make stuffing or potatoes or something. i'm really good at making salads but i'm sure that we could come up with food that i can prepare for the dinner when we get closer to the date :P

no worries about costco. i just remembered that i'm going to toronto in less than 2 weeks so a big food shop is not really that ideal until i come back. i will definitely have money upon my return (i get paid by the gym on my last day in toronto. hahha) so we can definitely do both. i have some small things i need from ikea too and i have not been able to make it there in soo long!

sounds like my changes in plans work out for the best for you as well!

im glad!

so about american thanksgiving, im going to try to pick up about 6 chairs from ikea, so i can have some spares and have people over (anytime i want) ..the chairs thing is holding me back! ..so you can bring a date, im gonna invite claire and her bf, and my friend shawna, and if she wants to bring a date. ha. im so lame!

you can bring whatever you want to bring, its not necessary tho. its far enough in advance that we dont have to stress on it.

payday upon returning from vacation is always the safest bet, otherwise id go crazy on vacation if i get paid during it!

i hope you have fun there and take lots of pics!

you should try to get folding chairs, maybe like http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15564&catalogId=10103&storeId=3&productId=47125&langId=-15&categoryId=15657&chosenPartNumber=30070402 in the white. that would look really nice in your place, they are cheap and functional and when you are only in need of 4 instead of 6 you can fold them up and put them in storage.

i've been saving my pennies for shopping in toronto. My parents also told me they are giving me my xmas money for an autumn wardrobe at h&m... you know that i'm going to take full advantage of that!!!

it is funny how i detested toronto but now i can't wait to go back and i'm going to take soooo many pictures! you know my post trip photo posts, they are huge!
